Bragur is a big and powerful fivegaiter. He did well last year in riding and competitions. His trott started to be really good and it gets easier and easier to make him trott whenever you want to. His pace is exceptionally fast and Bragur has in fact flying pace, which is always fun to watch.
Ingólfur and Bragur were quite successful this year so far. They reached the 3rd place in the Pacecompetition on ice during Mývatn Open, won the Firmakeppni of the ridingclub Grani/Húsavík in june and put themselves in 2nd place in the Fivegait and 3rd place in Pace at the competition in Ásbýrgi in the end of june. It will be interesting to see what they can reach in Einarsstaðir in August!
Bragur was sold to Þórarinn Eymundsson, who tried and liked Bragur very much. We hope these two have a bright future in pace competitions! They managed to win the 100m flying pace at Íslandsmót twice in a row.
