Preparing New Year's Eve

There were many things to do and prepare before we could celebrate New Year's Eve.
When it started to be bright, we went with Vignir, Berglind and a group of others to get the young stallions and sort those out, which don't necessarily have to be in that special field. The plan was to let them follow Einar Viðir to Heðinshöfði and catch 3 of them. Well, they were not so willing to leave their field and it took quite some time to make them move. Sorting out was no trouble and the rest was brought back to Eyvík in the trailer. It was nice to see the young stallions run and how much Farsæll has changed through the last week.
Later that day we prepared the birthdaydinner for Ingólfur's dad and had a good time eating and chatting with his family. Of course I had to bring an Austrian New Year's tradition with me and so we were trying to read our future out of tinfigures we created. That was really funny and everybody enjoyed the evening.
Around midnight we had a look at our outside horses to make sure they are fine eventhough a lot of firework was going on. Well, they were merely interested in eating and not at all in the fireworks!
